Childhelp Greater Washington Area Fashion Show Invite -
Sponsorship and Sponsorship Forms
We would like to
invite you to be a sponsor of Childhelp’s Fourth Annual Fashion Show-
“Healing the Hearts of Children” to be held on Saturday, February 21,
2009, at the Hyatt Regency Reston. In being a sponsor of the event,
you would not only receive tickets to the event (based on the level of
sponsorship), but also ad space and a listing on the sponsor page in
the program booklet. This event continues to grow and we expect over
300 guests who will appreciate your generous sponsorship. We are
asking for your continued assistance in supporting our programs to help
these abused children and raise awareness about child abuse. Each day in America more than 4 children die as a result of child abuse in the home. Child abuse is reported on average every 10 seconds. That’s more than 3 million reports a year and the actual incidence of abuse and neglect is estimated to be three times greater than those reported to authorities.
Childhelp is one of the largest and oldest national non-profits dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Each year Childhelp provides services that help thousands of children and families traumatized by child abuse. Locally, our facilities include a large residential treatment home and a Children’s Advocacy Center. The programs provided include art, animal, mental health and family therapies. Our prevention programs include body and Internet safety classes as well as mentoring and volunteer programs. For more information, please visit our website at www.childhelp.org.
Help us heal the hearts of children! We have helped many children, but also realize how much there is yet to accomplish. With your participation is essential to our success so we can continue to expand our programs to help more children. Thank you in advance for your care and concern for the children who live in fear.
